Vulcaflex, an Italian multinational specialized in the production of techno-fabric coatings and other synthetic materials for the automotive, fashion, and furniture sectors, entrusted us with the communication strategy for launching a new brand with a strong green focus. This innovative product line consists of next-generation coatings made primarily from recycled and waste materials, including plastic recovered from the oceans.
The first task was to propose a name capable of conveying the key elements of the new project: from the green philosophy that inspires it, to the advanced technologies used in the production of the new materials, to the stylistic sensibility that has always distinguished Vulcaflex. This led to the choice of “Nextethic”—a name that encapsulates these meanings in one captivating formula, with the added advantage of immediately catching attention.
The next step is the creation of the logo. To design it, we draw inspiration from Vulcaflex’s visual identity, reinterpreting its features and values through a new lens that emphasizes the dynamic lightness of the graphic style and vibrant color schemes to convey the spirit of this new green journey. A logo with roots firmly planted in the company’s rich history, yet projected toward a future already taking shape.
The philosophy behind the Nextethic project is summarized in a corporate video introducing the brand. Emotionally charged images flow by, evoking the technological, ethical, and aesthetic dimensions that inspire it. In the final moments, the naming and logo appear alongside a sequence of a car traveling toward new horizons — emphasizing the automotive sector as the primary destination for these new products.
The communication work, still in progress, continues with the creation of the first promotional and in-depth materials for the new project. It begins with a presentation for partners in the automotive sector—a document that adopts the new coordinated image to contextualize the brand’s launch within the broader framework of initiatives already promoted by Vulcaflex to embrace the core principles of the circular economy.
